‘Our Noise’ is a crowd-sourced sound collage of samples submitted by Jonny Apple’s Seeds Instagram followers. In his most challenging production to date, Jonny Apple’s Seed manipulated 41 audio files to create an album that embodies the spirals we endured during our time in lockdown.

The diversified collection of samples that is Our Noise unites a sound profile unlike any other. Feats of manipulation and production turn sound bites of industrial-sized garbage bins being dumped into kick drums, knives on cutting boards into snares. The album concludes with a wall of sound, bursting at the seams with 41 samples stacked atop each other for a blistering ascension. Our Noise ends just as same as it begins: it’s the noise we have made.
